There is something about May that invites the feeling of a fresh start. Warmer days, longer evenings, and that feeling that summer is just around the corner. After all, some do say that Spring is the true new year. There often seems to be a slight air of excitement, with bank holidays to look forward to and good weather that we all hope for every year. We ourselves have our long-awaited and very belated work Christmas meal coming up which we're all really looking forward to. Anyway, for these reasons, it can be a great time to give our spaces a bit of a refresh and get ready for the summer in general. With this in mind, here's what you can expect at Daisy Park over the next month and beyond, including some summer trend forecasting and sneak peeks.

New Emma Bridgewater

Oh we do love to be by the seaside! The new Emma Bridgewater ranges have just dropped so of course we're going to be using these pieces to create seaside inspired displays all over the shop all throughout May, including our official summer window. Trend of the summer: fruity fun

If you're in need of some inspiration on how to make your home feel a little more summery this year then we're here to help! Fruit inspired homeware is continuing to have a moment this summer if you hadn't noticed, and it ties into the trend of 'dopamine decor' nicely with the vibrant colours and fun designs. National Stationery Week

As usual, we'll be celebrating National Stationery Week from Monday 11th-Sunday 17th May. You'll probably know by now that we are huge stationery fans, so any excuse to talk about it is a good time in our books! Expect to see us shine a light on Kaweco pens, Japanese stationery, timeless favourites like a classic notebook and more.

Get inspired by our new books

There is something about a delivery of books that makes us feel like summer is on the way. It's probably something to do with all of the beautiful books about exploring the outdoors. We love having a quick flick through the local books about the wonderful place we live, North Devon, but there are also some gorgeous ones about road trips in the UK and more - something that many of us might be considering even more right now due to the current state of the world.

Exciting new Jellies are on their way!

We're expecting a new Jellycat launch in May, and it's one that we're feeling SO excited for. We can't say much, but let's just say it'll be very fitting to our current window display which you can see here.
