Top Tips on How to Decorate for Easter

Decorating your home for Easter is still a relatively new concept for many, but we think it's underrated. Since the world is a weird place right now, we thought we'd give you Daisy Parkers some of our top tips for getting your home Easter ready featuring some of our gorgeous products because for many of us, there's never really been a better time to get stuck into our home and invest some time into decorating it in a new, fun way.

Easter Tree & Decorations

The main thing that lots of us like to put up in our homes for Easter is a tree. It might sound silly to some, and possibly a little similar to Christmas, but we think it's a lovely idea. You can make them as big/small or as simple/extravagant as you like and you can get the kids involved in the decorating so it can keep them occupied for a while too. They really do bring some joy into your home, which is particularly needed right now. You might have seen the one we did in our shop window so you're welcome to use that as inspiration for your own, all of the decorations are those that we're selling on the website so pop over there to see more.

Fake Flowers and Furry Friends

Another way of adding some spring joy as well as Easter joy is through fake flowers and furry little friends. Fake flowers can be an easy option for bringing colour etc into your home whatever time of year it is, but this time of year it seems extra special (and needed). We've got some lovely fake daffodils in at the moment - so perfect for Easter, and some very sweet little woven Bristle Bunnies. Again, these are great all year round, but will certainly bring some Easter vibes into your home right now. The bunnies are sweet little extras and are even quite sturdy for anyone with little ones running around a lot at the moment.

Garlands Galore

We don't think any kind of decorating would be complete without a garland, and this one saying 'Happy Easter' is just perfect! The pastel colours represent the perfect embodiment of Easter and will effortlessly finish off any look. Check out our shop window, doesn't it just tie the look together wonderfully?

Easy Egg Cups

Finally, egg cups are probably the easiest decoration you can get out this Easter, as you most likely already have some! You can get your kids involved and decorate eggs to put in them (see the pic below where we've popped a wooden one in there), or simply buy some smaller chocolate ones like the classic creme egg and have them popped around your living space for people to pick up for a sweet treat once they've finished the big Sunday lunch. If you don't have any egg cups or simply want a refresh, we've got some beautiful ones from Pip Studio in brightly coloured, botanical themed designs, or more classic designs from Emma Bridgewater.
