Your new favourite jewellery piece?
Your new favourite jewellery piece?
There is something that feels so special and personal about jewellery. Many of us own pieces that have been passed down to us, as well as engagement rings and wedding bands, plus pieces that we just love. It's a form of expression and an important one at that, so with that in mind, we're taking a look at what's big this year in jewellery trends. In a world in which gold prices are continuing to rise, many jewellery brands are turning more and more to alternative materials and styles when designing new pieces. Marie-Claire highlighted this in a recent article and went over what jewellery trends are in for 2026.
Vintage inspired
One main trend that has already been established but is continuing to grow is vintage inspired jewellery, and we're here for it. Hot Tomato capture vintage vibes perfectly with their vibrant earrings, whilst still feeling contemporary rather than outdated.

Bold self-expression
On top of the fabulous vintage trend is another one that we're pretty happy about which is the encouragement of self-expression and being as creative as you want with jewellery. Think bold styles and vibrant colours, and pretty much anything you want! That's the beauty of it, and once more, Hot Tomato's pieces are perfect for doing just that. From simpler, every day earrings to bold and sparkly ones that make a statement.

The rise of silver
Finally, circling back to the continuing rise of gold prices, silver jewellery is apparently making a huge comeback. Whether you like to mix and match, or are a gold wearer looking to expand into silver, we've got plenty of pieces for you to explore. Whilst we do have a few silver items from Hot Tomato, Coral and Mint is really the shining star here. With lot's of pretty designs to choose from, packaged in cute boxes and made here in Devon, their jewellery is truly perfect for little gifts or treats to yourself.

It falls on Sunday 15th March this year and as today is the 1st (hello March!), it's creeping up on us fast.
