What's new for June at Daisy Park
What's new for June at Daisy Park
Wow, can you believe that May has come to an end and we're entering June now? Because we can't. May seemed to fly by for us but it was filled with lot's of loveliness along the way. For example, we finally had our team Christmas meal! Yes that's right, Christmas meal in May. With the madness of the festive period and Emma not being well, it just didn't happen. But it worked out in the best way in the end because it meant that we got to go to the River Exe Cafe (which is only open for the summer season) and we all had a grand old time with delicious food and excellent company. In fact, it was our first outing as one big group since Nancy and Kate joined us, so it was really great to do. See some pics below!
June schedule: first up, Father's Day
Anyway, what's happening in June? Well, the main thing we're getting ready for right now is Father's Day. It falls on Sunday 21st June so there's still a bit of time to get organised, and we've still got plenty of cards and gifts for him if you need inspiration. In fact, you can have a browse of our Father's Day section on our website to see some of our favourite ideas.
Warming up for some football
Football fans are gearing up for the start of the Men's World Cup that starts in June, and that includes us! South Molton in Bloom do a window display competition every year with a theme, and this year it's all about football. So we'll be getting our window done this month, let's hope it'll bring England some good luck, hey? And although we won't reveal our full idea yet, you probably won't be surprised to hear that the new Jellycat football will most certainly be a star of the show.
New Jellies on the way
Speaking of Jellycat, you can expect to see some new characters arrive in June! We were so excited to hear that we'd be getting the Jellycat space range, and you can also expect to see some additions to the food menu at some point too. But that's all we'll say for now...
New Emma Bridgewater to come too
And finally, some new pieces from Emma Bridgewater will be arriving in store. Although we can't say what it is, think summer. That's our hint! But in the meantime, with the lovely weather we've been having lately, the coastal range has certainly felt fitting. Trips to the seaside have been a big part of our free time right now, we don't know about you.
So there's a round up of what to expect in June, alongside these bits and bobs we're also hoping for some glorious weather along the way too. That would top it off nicely, wouldn't it? Tap here to head back to our website!
