July has been a month full of sunshine, ice-creams and all round summery vibes here at Daisy Park. Despite some mens World Cup disappointment that already feels like a lifetime ago, we've had a good month overall. Now August is here and we're wondering where the time is going, but over the next month you can expect to see more summer content (especially if these heatwaves keep coming), as well as a little sprinkling of goodies for autumn and Halloween because the deliveries are coming thick and fast and that time will soon roll around (which we're secretly a little bit excited for). We've also got a fun in-store Kaweco event coming up this month so keep an eye on our socials if you're a local. Now let's run through a few of what's new already...

Locals: get ready for our in-store Kaweco event!

If you're a stationery fanatic and fancy creating your very own personalised Kaweco pen to keep forever, then do be sure to pop into the shop from 17th-26th August where you'll be able to do just that with the new glow in the dark fountain pens (in-store only remember). We can't wait! Vibrant vases and beautiful bowls

Something a bit different for us are these gorgeous new vases that channel Mediterranean vibes and bring a rustic but timeless feel into any space. And from the same company, some lovely autumnal bowls that we simply couldn't resist. In fact, we love these bowls so much that it's given us our first little pang of excitement for autumn, we can't lie.

New from ROKA London

We are constantly getting deliveries from Roka at the moment thanks to their popularity. They make so many different bags that are so handy, in an array of gorgeous colours and prints, so we just can't get enough of them! And it seems that neither can you, so we've just had a delivery and we're pleased to say that there is more coming in August too.

And all of her fabulous friends, each one bursting with character and charm. Emma originally spotted this brand when looking for a birthday present for her mum, but loved the products so much that she thought she'd stock them. We're so glad she did as we think these pieces are stunning, especially for summer. Perfect homeware for those that love a little bit of quirkiness in their home!

Gearing up for the new season...

Now, as we've already touched on, August is the month that we start to get ready for autumn and Halloween. This might seem early but let's be honest, there's no better feeling than being organised is there? The deliveries of newness for autumn/winter are coming thick and fast and as we said, we're a little excited to be honest. So far, Powder socks and wrist warmers have arrived, as well as the first drop of the Emma Bridgewater autumn/Halloween collection. See the photos below for a peek at these! See, isn't there something about these photos that just gets you excited for autumn? It does for us. But in the meantime, let's get back to the present. As this summer has been such a sunny one, we're hoping to be able to enjoy a bit more of it before it's gone, as well as more ice creams, more seasonal food, and perhaps a little bit of rain here and there too (think we can all agree it's needed now!) and overall make the most of gorgeous late summer.
