Wedding season sorted
With the arrival of May comes the incoming full swing of wedding season. The outfits have been ordered and the finishing touches are being put in place, all that's left to sort is a gift. Oh joy.
Now we know how tedious this task can feel. What do you get for a couple about to embark on a lifetime together? Whilst many couples have moved away from gifts nowadays and gone for the money option, there are still plenty whom ask for gifts. Not to mention that sometimes if you're close to them, you might want to give a special something along with the money. So, if you are in need of a gift for a wedding, here's a few suggestions from us.
One of the most obvious gifts in our shop has to be the Emma Bridgewater Mr & Mrs mugs. The iconic homeliness of this brand and it's timeless style makes it an excellent choice for a wedding gift, especially this mug set. Plus, whilst the couple are in that first lovely little bubble, they will likely enjoy the novelty of using mugs reminding them of their new status together.
If you're after a slightly more unusual gift for a fun-loving couple then look no further than the latest Jellycat wedding collection. Our favourites are the bride and groom boiled eggs, but the wedding cake would make a sweet keepsake.
Now this idea is for if you've already got the main gift sorted and you just need a little extra something to make it special. We cannot recommend East of India enough for an occasion such as a wedding. Their trinkets always know how to say sentimental things in just the right way. And if there's ever a time to be sentimental it's a wedding, right?
Now for the finishing touches. A card is pretty much an essential for a wedding, whether it's just to pop some cash into or for writing a long message of love for the couple to keep forever. We've made sure to get plenty in stock in time for wedding season, as well as some gorgeous gift wrap and gift bags for presenting your gift in the loveliest way. So now that you've sorted that, all that's left is to enjoy the day itself! Phew!
