The Perfect Garden Party
The Perfect Garden Party
The Jubilee celebrations are a distant memory now, as is all of the delicious party food, but the weather feels like it's only just getting started. We don't know about you, but this has left us feeling readier than ever for enjoying time with loved ones in the sunshine and into the evening. So, this calls for a summer garden party, don't you think? Here's all you need to get yours looking ready for the fun.
The products that largely inspired this blog post are these gorgeous outside lights by Lightstyle London. Solar powered with rechargeable batteries, they come with a stand or hanging option and automatically turn on and off at dusk and dawn. There's also the lovely starburst and dandelion lights which add a touch of sparkle to your garden, making it feel a little bit magical.
Bringing colour to your garden will have it feeling like a little tropical holiday moment, in our opinion. This outdoor rug from Talking Tables is so suited for that, and can make for a perfect picnic rug if you've got wet grass or just uncomfortable ground. It also could work as a picnic rug on the beach too which is always handy. Also from Talking Tables is the fabulous lantern bunting for that finishing touch, as well as some glorious boho candles and candle sticks to help set the mood.
Next up, you'll need something to serve all those delightful dishes, or carry the drinks out on. An Asta Barrington tray is the perfect helping hand here, with a great selection of designs well suited to a party or summer barbecue.
Emma Bridgewater is the queen of homewares, including serving bowls and platters that are almost too good to use, but not quite. Add one to your collection and your guests might be in awe of your serving skills for years to come.
And to keep those unwanted buzzing friends away from the food, we've even got citronella candles now in. They come in a cute heart shaped tin though which could be used over and over again in the future with tealights etc.
