    Fall Into Autumn

    Fall Into Autumn

The trees are turning, the nights are drawing in, Autumn is making it's mark and October has officially arrived. We know, we can't quite believe it either. Where did the summer go?!

But there are so many perks of the colder seasons coming in. Cosy jumpers, the many hot drinks and hot desserts like mulled cider and apple crumble, wrapped up walks in crunchy leaves, and of course the various celebrations that take place. So in this blog post, we're getting stuck into the spirit of Autumn with all of these gorgeous goodies from Emma Bridgewater, who always know how to do it.

Autumn Crocuses, the great Oak tree range and the Into The Woods range are all perfect for autumn. We particularly love those gorgeous golden orange colours on the Into The Woods mugs with creatures that you can spot on your autumn walks amongst the fallen leaves.

We recently had a harvest moon, and of course there's a mug for that. Plus the village fireworks mug which is an ode to Bonfire night and the 5th of November. Aren't they lovely?

Then there's one of the first events of the colder seasons, Halloween. The themed products around this celebration are always fun and this year did not disappoint. Us Daisy Parkers have each got a set of our own that we're using non-stop in the run up to the 31st!

Despite summer coming to an end, there are many joys that come with the colder season, and looking at these treats makes us feel really quite excited, so we hope the same happens for you.

    New Emma Bridgewater Autumn!

    New Emma Bridgewater Autumn!

The days are getting cooler and the leaves on trees are beginning to change colour...

As summer is drawing to a close and Autumn creeps in, this can mean only one thing. A new collection from Emma Bridgwater of course! This one is as gorgeous as ever, and features green leaves of the great Oak tree. We think the pieces in this range would be perfect for hosting friends or family for a cosy evening in with a roast dinner or cottage pie, or any autumnal meal that takes your fancy. You could match it with the In the Woods ranges, or perhaps the Apples design from the Veg Garden range.

Then there's the Halloween collections. These include a fabulously bewitching Magic & Spells orange coloured range, creepy crawlies, the popular Trick or Treat cobweb design from last year, and a few others that will be perfect to use in the month of terrific terror. You might already have the treat buckets that have been hugely popular this year, along with some of the glorious napkins that would complete a scarily good table spread for a Halloween feast for all.

After a not-so hot summer, we're feeling surprisingly quite ready to embrace Autumn here at Daisy Park. Just think of all the delights that come with it: crunchy leaves, hot apple crumbles, pumpkin carving and sparklers around fires, there's a lot to look forward to.

    Get Buzzing over Insect Goodies

    Get Buzzing over Insect Goodies

Whether you're fascinated by them or terrified of them, bugs and insects can be found wherever you go. But, as the little creepy crawlers come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, their unique patterns and colours can make for some great inspiration for homeware, don't you think?

So perhaps letting these glorious goodies come buzzing into your home wouldn't be such a bad thing..

From Emma Bridgewater and Gisela Graham to Frugi and East of India, there are lots of brands in Daisy Park that feature pretty little creatures. Most common is of course the incredibly popular Bumblebee, which we are all for because they are undeniably cute.

We're also loving the Emma Bridgewater butterflies and bugs range. The Chilly's bottle in this design is a personal favourite of ours, as but there are lots of gorgeous butterfly designs from other brands too. Such as the Eco Chic bags and coffee cups, and even some of the Djeco kids toys.

PICS: Eco Chic butterflies, kids stuff?

Even East of India can bring some bugs life into their products. These bits make for some lovely gifts if you know anyone who loves bees or butterflies, aren't they just the cutest?

So if you or someone you care about has a love for all things insects, then perhaps some of these goodies will be something for you or them to get buzzing with excitement over. Normally we might try to get these creatures out of our homes, but these ones we might just have to let live here for a while..

    Happy New Year!

    Happy New Year!

Well, it's finally here. 2021. The year that for all of us is hopefully, in time, bringing with it more hope, more freedom, and good times. As one of the fortunate businesses to have pulled through 2020, here at Daisy Park we all feel very lucky when reflecting upon the mayhem of the past year. It's not been easy, and it's obviously far from over yet, but one thing the Daisy Park team can be thankful for is everyone who has supported us. We wrapped endless amounts of parcels for our customers and although it was stressful at times, we were and always are, extremely grateful. So thank you to you, our wonderful customers, for supporting a small business. It really does mean the world.

Now though, it's time to look ahead! We've got some exciting ideas for the next year and lots of fabulous new goodies coming in soon. But let's start things slow with what's going on here in the shop. It's the January sale! With discounts on lots of your favourite brands like Emma Bridgewater, Pip Studio, Erstwilder, Greengate, Soruka and more, this is a good one. Here's a few of our top picks:

We're aware that occasions are still going on. Birthdays are still to be celebrated all be it in smaller ways, as well as babies being born and more. So with this new lockdown, we want to remind you that we're continuing to wrap and send gifts on your behalf to loved ones, along with writing and sending cards too.

We're also now back offering our click & collect service once more after taking a little hiatus over the Christmas break. So if you're nervous about going out, all you need to do is buy your bits through our website and choose the pick up option at check-out. We'll let you know when it's ready, then when you get to the shop, we'll bring it out for you. Done!

There is no doubt that January is going to be a difficult month, not just for businesses, but for all of us as a nation. Regardless, Daisy Park will continue to provide gifts and cards for all your needs, and slowly but surely, it'll all work out. This year will bring us better things, we simply need to be patient with it. So let's try and be positive, and start as we mean to go on. Happy new year everyone!
