It's picnic season
It's picnic season
Well, the weather is warming up (mostly), it's a bank holiday weekend and the seasonal foods are coming back into supermarkets, it must be picnic season! So, you bring the snacks and tipples, we'll provide the rest (apart from the weather). Here's our guide to enjoying the perfect picnic.
The star of the show - Hinza bags
Now, we can't do a blog post on picnics without immediately mentioning Hinza bags. They are so well suited to them thanks to their sturdy design that can be easily wiped clean in the event of spillages. Plus, their newest creation of the cool bags which can be neatly slotted inside means you can keep food and drink cool in there too. They really are ideal.
Chilly's bottles
Stay hydrated on those hot summer days with some cold water (or your favourite tipple) from your Chilly's bottle, which keeps cold drinks cold for 24 hours or hot drinks hot for 12. Or if you're after a coffee to take along with you, opt for one of their coffee flask cups. So that's drinks sorted!
The Silicone Straw Co
This is the picnic essential you didn't know you needed until now - a silicone straw in a tin. If you hate the way paper straws go soggy after a while then these are your miracle. Pop one of the tins in your handbag and you'll have one ready for the picnic as well as plenty of other occasions like takeaway iced coffees and more. Or, grab a pack of them and pop them in your picnic bag for a family affair where everyone can have one. Plus, they've even been named as the best reusable silicone straw by BBC Good Food 2024 so they must be good.
Finally, don't forget a pack of napkins to keep clean, and have a browse of our tin section to see if any come in handy such as a cracker tin for cheese and crackers on the go. And once you've got everything you need, all you need is the food and the good weather! Have a good picnic season Daisy Parkers. xx
