Daisy Parks best gifts under £20
We're sure many of you probably agree that these days it feels like we live in a world in which everyone seems to have everything. It can be easy to overthink gifts and go round in circles wondering what on Earth to get someone. But, our job is to help with that. In our annual set of gift guides, we're going to try and provide some simple yet really effective gift ideas. In this whirlwind of many ideas swirling around, it can sometimes be best to bring it back to basics a bit. Starting with this weeks guide: our 5 best gifts for under £20. Each of these ideas are, in our opinion, excellent all-rounders. The type of gift that you can't go wrong with. Let's get into it, shall we?
1. St Eval Christmas candle tin, £15
Whilst a candle might seem like a somewhat un-extraordinary present to some, St Eval candles are definitely not that. It's safe to say that we utterly adore St Evals Christmas collections. They are the best Christmas candles around. Christmas in a candle, even. Orange and Cinnamon would be our top choice, but each scent brings it's own version of festivity. And by giving someone one of these tin candles, you can open them up to a whole new world. Especially if they are someone who would appreciate an all-natural candle that's gentle on the environment too.

2. The Traitors card game, £12
Need we say much? For anyone who's been enjoying the new series of The Celebrity Traitors, we would highly recommend this Traitors card game as a Christmas present. Games are always a great go-to as a gift, but this one in particular will be sure to provide some laughs (and perhaps the occasional family argument) at Christmas this year.

3. Christmas cracker in, £11
The great thing about a cracker tin is that it can easily be upgraded to create a lovely little foodie hamper. So step one, choose your cracker tin. Step two, choose some crackers to go inside of the tin, as well as some delicious cheese and maybe a jar of chutney too. And that's your gift sorted! Add any other little treats that you know your recipient enjoys and you've got a great present ready to go.

4. The Great British Bucket List book, £12.99
A travel book is always a brilliant gift option for couples who might be wanting to travel more, people who have recently retired, or just for anyone who likes life with a touch of adventure. The Great British Bucket List is our book of choice in this case because it encourages us to explore our own country, could be a little easier on the budget (especially for those who could do it in a camper, for example), and is generally just a lovely book to have on the coffee table if nothing else! But there are plenty of other beautiful books to choose from too.

5. Christmas Tea Towel, £13
A festive tea towel is not something many of us would think to buy ourselves, and that is always a good sign when choosing a present. This one could be paired up with the cracker tin idea, or it could be a lovely gift on it's own, too. What's even better is that it's really easy to pop in the post as well, which is always a handy benefit.

Whilst yes, it is always important to remember that it's the thought that counts when it comes to gifting, of course we all want to give something special. Hopefully these ideas can, if nothing else, inspire you for that friend, couple or the work secret Santa that needs sorting. And stay tuned for more specific gift guides to come, including ideas for little ones, teens, plus gifts for foodies, gardeners and more. Let us know if there is anything in particular you'd like some inspiration for as well!
