5 best gifts for teens
Teenagers: possibly one of the hardest age groups to buy for. Once the obvious choices for them such as gaming devices, clothes, and gadgets are ticked off the list, it can feel really hard to know what to get them. And we'll be completely honest with you, we struggled too! But, nevertheless we have found some goodies that we think would make brilliant gifts for teenagers. As per usual, we always hope it can at least spark a lightbulb moment if nothing else. So let's get into it, shall we?
1. Jewellery
For many of us, it was in our teen years that we got really into wearing jewellery. So if you know someone who has recently got their ears pierced, or you think they'd appreciate a pretty new necklace, then we always recommend Coral & Mints jewellery. It's also hypoallergenic so good for sensitive ears too.

2. Jellycat
Yes, we did feature Jellycat in the kids gift guide. But Jellycat is hugely popular amongst adults now, in fact, thanks to it taking off on TikTok and other factors, it might even be most popular in young adults now! There are many collectors of Jellycat, so if you know a fan and manage to get them one, then you might just be their new favourite person. The Snowflake has been popular in this years Christmas launch.

3. A Mug
It's around our teens that many of us start to acquire our very first homey bits. There's something about it that feels a bit grown up and fun about it all. And a lovely new mug is often one of the first things to kick off the collection. You could drive straight in with an extra special Emma Bridgewater mug, or if you're on a budget then we recommend the Gisela Graham mugs at £8.99, which are a nice size and come in a range of gorgeous designs. Or perhaps a Musango mug for something a bit quirkier.

4. A candle
Sticking with the theme of first homey bits, then it can be a real treat to receive a nice new candle (at any age!). It goes without saying that a candle is probably more appropriate for the older teens by the way, such as someone who has recently started uni, or perhaps if they've given their room a refresh and have been looking for some new pieces.

5. Stationery
Speaking of the older teens, for those who are at college and uni, stationery is always a really handy Christmas present. Although yes, lot's of work is done on laptops etc now, there are still plenty of people who like a good old paper and pen. Gift them a smart new notebook, a fancy pen, or even a journal for just jotting down random thoughts.

We often find that our biggest piece of gifting advice is if in doubt, bring it back to basics. And we think this applies here. Sometimes a cute new pair of earrings, a nice candle or a fab new notebook can be just right. There, that wasn't so had after all!
