Bartholomew Bear’s snowboarding adventures are more about style than speed. Dressed head-to-toe in his fluff-trimmed snowsuit—with a pretend zip and imaginary lift pass—he gracefully takes to the slopes with slow, steady moves and regular dance breaks.

Though he claims “black runs only,” his snowboard is mostly for striking a pose, and his goggles have yet to meet a snowflake. For Bartholomew, looking the part is half the thrill; the other half is, of course, the fondue.
