    Send Some Sentiment

    Send Some Sentiment

Every once in a while, we all get a little sentimental, right? Whether it's a big life event that reminds us of how much we love our special people, or the little things that make us happy like a cup of tea in bed on a Sunday morning. Sometimes it's just nice to send a little bit of sop through the post to show someone we care, and East of India are the company to go to for that. They've plenty of trinkets and tokens for all, plus some lovely new pieces that we think are just so cute.

For a while now we've stocked some of East of India's lovely little handled tealight holders and they've always been popular as gifts. So now we've also got the larger ones (9x5.5cm) which come with a tinned, scented candle and we think they're great. The one pictured below has a fig and pear scent which is subtle but gorgeous.

The thing we love most about East of India is that not only do they have little gifts with perfect sayings for every event/occasion, they also have something for no reason. For 'just a little something' gifts, and for simply wanting to brighten someone's day. Here's some of our favourite goodies; for occasions, and for the hell of it.

East of India have got so much to offer when it comes to sentimental gifts. The goodies we've shown you today are just a handful of what we stock from them, and we're always getting deliveries. Have a browse on our website today, and you might just find the perfect way that you've been looking for to tell someone you care.

    Thinking of You Week

    Thinking of You Week

Today is the last day of what has been Thinking of You Week 2021. Started by the Greetings Card Association, the aim of the week is to encourage everyone to simply spread some love and positivity simply through writing a card.

Greetings cards are part of what makes us here at Daisy Park, so we love getting involved in this campaign every year. Sometimes they get overlooked, but a cute card with a handwritten, sentimental message inside is usually more than enough to make someone's day. So if you feel inspired, here's a few of our favourite cards and other bits that you can deliver to someone special, or pop in the post to a loved one across the miles.

If you feel like popping a little something else into the card, an East of India trinket is the perfect little keepsake gift to give an extra boost of sentiment and all round positivity. The hanging hearts are flat and not too big so can slot into cards quite neatly, plus there's a huge variety of phrases on them to suit everyone.

Sometimes it's nice to send someone some love without a real reason. No birthday or other event, just a reminder of how special they are to you. Take this, and Thinking of You Week in general, as your reminder to give it a go. Find a gorgeously designed card, maybe even a sweet trinket, and write a friend, family member or whoever it might be, a nice little note today. You're welcome!

    Gifts for your BFF

    Gifts for your BFF

Friends. What would we do without them, hey? Though they may not always be physically there, they are always there. And though we may not have been able to see them as much as we’d like over the past year or so, it’s made us appreciate them more than ever.

This Friday, 30th July was national friendship day, but we think they should be celebrated and cherished every day. So we’ve put together some wonderful little goodies perfect for reminding your loved ones how much you care. If you feel like doing that, then read on for some inspiration.

When it comes to friends and showing sentiment, East of India is the one. There’s so many lovely, meaningful quotes on various little trinkets to choose from. Whether it’s the classic hanging hearts, coasters, candles or the newest mini matchbox tokens, we’re sure you’ll find something to hit the spot.
Getting a friend one of these fabulous little Erstwilder pins with witty, sweet messages on would make for a lovely little gift too. It’ll be something for them to pop on a bag or jacket so that they can carry it around with them all the time.
We all love a good ‘cuppa & catch up’. If it’s a friends birthday coming up, you could gift them a gorgeous Asta Barrington tray with their favourite drink on, or perhaps just a word you both love. Then serve up your drink and treat of choice on it to add that touch more fun to your meet-ups!

Finally, if you’re not too fussed about gifts but just want to send them something to show some love, why not just pop a card in the post. We’ve got funny ones or sweet ones but each says that you care in its own little way. Our personal current fave is the Emma bridgewater ‘soul sisters’ card.

Whether it'll be a gift, card or just a text or phone call, let your nearest and dearest know how much you love them this World Friendship Day. Of course we should do it all the time anyway, but if this is a good excuse then we say take it.
