    Vegan Treats for Veganuary

    Vegan Treats for Veganuary

This month, many of you will be taking part in Veganuary. Typically this new tradition is themed around food and diet, but if you're enjoying your experience of being vegan and feel like exploring it a little further, check out these products that you can use in every day life or as gifts, that are also vegan.

The main star of the show here is our glorious range of luxurious soaps, which are all completely vegan and sustainably made. Starting with the ever-popular English Soap Company ones, they are enriched with heavenly shea butter for a moisturising experience and smell simply divine.

There's also the Barefoot Beauty soaps which come in unique and fun (and recyclable) packaging to make for fabulous gifts.

And let's not forget our newest soaps and most outgoing by far, the brilliant novelty soaps by Go La La. Made with natural ingredients and no palm oil, these don't only smell gorgeous, but will bring joy to someone's day when they see it. We get people laughing at them almost every day in the shop.

Alongside soaps, there's the wonderful Heathcote & Ivory products which are all vegan also. There is a great range of beautifully designed goodies that never fail to make a convenient and special gift.

And finally, we love a good candle here at Daisy Park. Luckily for us all, the candles we stock are all vegan friendly! Including St Eval's gorgeously natural and minimalistic candles, as well as the bright and beautiful Country Candle Company's fabulous candles too. There's a scent to suit everyone with these two brands combined and we're sure you'll find something you love.

These goodies, alongside our great variety of generally environmentally-friendly products, will get you further along the path of sustainability in no time. Cut down on plastic by using one of these reusable water bottles from Dopper or Chilly's, always have a reusable bag to put your shopping in with a Hinza bag, or make sustainability stylish with jewellery from a brand that focuses on making minimal impact on our environment, One & Eight. Perhaps it's not so hard, after all!

    Last Minute Christmas Treats

    Last Minute Christmas Treats

It’s the last Sunday before Christmas and can you believe that in a weeks time we’ll be eating leftover Christmas dinner, chocolates and treats galore? Oh how time flies.

If you’ve still got those last few bits to finish off someone’s present, or just remembered one that you completely forgot about, let us make a suggestion.

Take some inspiration from our Christmas window and bring a bit of magic into the home with the fabulous Jellycat Christmas range, there's still some bits left!

Don't forget the Christmas table spread! Get yours looking glorious with jugs, napkins and candles galore still available now, or give them to loved ones to help them get theirs looking wonderful too.

Gift vouchers might get a bit of a bad rep sometimes, but we think they’re a fabulous treat. Pop it in a lovely card and it’s done. That way, your loved one can have a look themselves when they fancy a little something. Plus we can email vouchers to you or your recipient so you don’t even need to bother with cards or postage stress! In these final days before the big day, that might come as a relief to some of you.

For those of you still ordering those gifts here and there, here are our delivery cut off dates to get your bits by Christmas. But please remember this is a crazy time so we can’t always guarantee! Standard second class delivery has already passed.

    • 1st Class: Monday 20th
    • Next working day: Wednesday 22nd

Next up, our shop opening times over the festive period will be as follows:

With all these formalities covered, there’s nothing left to say besides a huge thank you to all of our Daisy Parkers for your continued support this year. It’s been a bit of a crazy one hasn’t it? We really do appreciate it when you choose to buy from us, be it just a card or a whole heap of Emma Bridgewater. It means the world.

Merry Christmas to you all, and we’ll see you in the new year!

    Top 10 Stocking Fillers

    Top 10 Stocking Fillers

They say the best things come in small packages, right? Stock up on these fabulous fillers and you'll be making the opening of Christmas stockings the event of the day.

    1. A soap

These novelty ones by Go La La are new to Daisy Park this year and have been really popular because they are just so funny. They're just such a brilliant gift for someone with a cheeky and childish sense of humour. Alternatively, the English Soap Company's Christmas or Kew Gardens soaps are a lovely alternative with a gorgeous range of scents.

    2. Socks

Would it be Christmas without receiving a pair of socks? Powder socks are great choice here, with both Men and Womens socks available in some bright and beautiful designs, or their popular alphabet socks for something a bit more personal.

    3. A password book

Perhaps a little random, yes, but password books are one of those products you don't know you need until you see it in front of you. It's not so likely your loved ones have one of these or would have thought of them so this could be a great little gift that's super handy. We particularly love these mini ones by SMW Gifts.

    4. An East of India trinket

Whether it be a trinket dish, a token matchbox, tealight holder or a simple hanging heart, East of India goodies are perfect for popping in a stocking. They'll add a touch of sentiment which always goes down well (particularly at Christmas), and provide a cute little keepsake for your loved ones to have forever.

    5. Hand sanitiser or cream

Still very appropriate and an essential for everyone these days, we believe you can never have enough hand sanitiser or hand cream. With the lovely ones we have from English Soap Co or Heathcote & Ivory, your friends and family will not only have hands as soft and clean as possible, but will be smelling divine at the same time.

    6. A keyring

A great go-to and somewhat of a timeless classic of a stocking filler, need we say more? These novelty ones are just brilliant, there's one to suit everyone.

    7. Pocket tissues

Possibly another classic? With the adorable range of prints we have, a packet of pocket tissues is actually such a sweet stocking filler idea. Plus, they might come in handy for those winter sniffles or Christmas rom-com blubbers.

    8. Bookaroo stationery bits

Pen holders, phone pockets or reading lights, Bookaroo by If has some great bits and bobs that were practically made to be stocking fillers. We love the idea of a pen holder and pen as a double duo, or the really handy phone pocket.

    9. Jewellery, a brooch or a pin

The perfect example of 'the best things come in small packages', earrings will pop into a stocking nicely and will be sure to go down well. Or, for something a bit different, why not give a brooch by Erstwilder? Or a pin which is a bit smaller and subtler, such as the Erstwilder ones or Gisela Graham festive ones.

    10. A Christmas decoration

Perhaps they've recently moved house and are re-doing their Christmas tree, or maybe you just want to give them something they can use over again year upon year, a Christmas decoration is actually a lovely gift, and we've got plenty of gorgeous ones to choose from.

So there we have it, our top 10 stocking fillers for this Christmas. We've got plenty of bits and bobs to choose from that are all perfect for stocking fillers, just have a little look for yourself on our website or by popping in to the shop.
