The bobbins holding this timepiece are approx. 85 years old and were originally used to spin tyre cord for Dunlop to use on Morris cars. The bobbins come from Oxford Mill, Rochdale. The struts are Universal bobbins and are about 100 years old and from Rushworths Mill, Colne.
